2. Hosting
This website runs on a server operated by [hosting provider] in [country]. Technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time) is processed in server log files (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
3. Visitor statistics (without cookies)
To understand which content is read and how visitors find us, we run visitor statistics on our own server. They set no cookies, share no data with third parties and build no profiles across days.
For every page view we process: the page, the website you came from (its name only, e.g. "google.de"), campaign details in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), device type, browser and operating system (from the browser's user agent), the width of the browser window, the time the page was visible, and your approximate location (country, region, city).
Your IP address is only processed briefly in memory: to look up your approximate location in a database stored on our server (DB-IP City Lite, db-ip.com) – city level at most – and, together with the user agent and a random key that changes daily, to form an anonymous daily identifier (a truncated SHA-256 hash). The IP address itself is not stored. The random key is deleted after two days; after that the identifier cannot be linked to anyone. Visits on different days cannot be connected.
The statistics data is deleted automatically after 400 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in analysing and improving our website and our communication (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
You can object at any time: if your browser sends the "Global Privacy Control" or "Do Not Track" signal, we do not record any statistics. You can also send us your objection using the contact details above.
4. Newsletter & waitlist
We process your email address for the newsletter based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Sign-up uses double opt-in; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
5. Contact forms
Data from contact, partner, press and application forms is processed to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR) and deleted once no longer needed.
6. Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies (e.g. for the team login). Non-essential cookies only with your consent.
7. External content
Artist photos are provided by Spotify (Spotify AB). Loading them transmits your IP address to Spotify. Links to Spotify, Apple Music and Instagram open the respective services.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
